How the Staff Ratio Works
The general rule of thumb in RT3 is balancing "Throughput" vs "Wages". Our calculator adjusts based on your appliance upgrades, ensuring you never pay for an idle waiter again.
Each chef can handle approximately 3 tables worth of orders simultaneously. With the Cooking Speed Upgrade, this increases to 4 tables per chef, significantly reducing your labor costs while maintaining service quality.
Waiters operate on a different ratio: each waiter can effectively serve 2.5 tables. The split between Order Takers and Runners is critical for maintaining smooth operations during peak hours.
